66 Minutes Record Time - Medium-size DVCPRO cassettes not only reduce storage space requirements in the studio, but are far more convenient to handle in field production.

Electronic Shutter - A user-settable electronic shutter allows speeds from 1/100 to 1/2000 second, which serve to reduce blur on fast moving objects. Electronic shutter can also compensate for shaky camera movement, especially when shooting aerial footage.

Synchro -Scan - This subset of the electronic shutter allows for very fine increments to be selected from a range of 1/60.8 to 1/250 sec. The subsequent result is reduced flicker when shooting electronic displays such as computer monitors or electronic readouts.

Scene File - Camera set-ups can be saved on a conveniently removable PCMCIA Memory card, allowing swift access to user-designed camera settings for given scenes, or matching multiple cameras with the same "look".

Super Iris - To compensate for backlighting conditions, the Super Iris mode opens the iris the necessary amount to bring the subject matter up to proper levels.

Most importantly, it's the most affordable 2/3" acquisition component in our camera offerings.

Key features include switchable aspect ratio between 16:9 and 4:3, advanced IT imager with very low smear, Super-Iris for one-button backlighting, Super Gain for extreme low-light level shooting, storage of Setup files on PCMCIA memory card, Genlock for multi-camera shoots, and Picture Link for expeditious non-linear editor batch digitizing.

The AJ-D610WBPS1 combines high-sensitivity 520,000 pixel , 2/3" CCDs , with DVCPRO's digital component recording quality to create a high performance camcorder for independent productions, corporate video, local cable and broadcast ENG applications.

With the optional DVCPRO Digital Triax System the AJ-D610WBPS1 can be used for field or studio productions requiring remote camera operations over short or long distances. The system uses standard triax cable for ready interconnection via existing triax cable runs typically outfitted in sports stadiums, arenas and concert halls.
