No hard drive is required because caching image files is done on-the-fly to multiple writers simultaneously. LED indicators provide easy detection of errors during the record process, preventing bad disc duplication, and monitoring the status of the recording session.
The CopyWriter Tower series features one-touch operation for simple CD copying, allowing any novice user to operate it effectively. Process Modes:
Actual Copy ... Copy directly from the source CD to the writer(s) simultaneously.

DSR DVD Duplicators The DSR DVD Series
The DSR DVD Series is Microboards's multi-drive DVD/CD duplicator employing General Purpose DVD+/-R recorders. The unit supports both standalone and optional computer-connect operation and allows you to copy from multiple DVD formats.
Configurations of 3 to 16 recorders are available to meet individual production requirements. An intuitive, menu-driven display and 2-button control interface provide simple one-touch operation for the novice user while giving access to advanced features for the professional.
The 80GB hard drive comes standard with the system and allows the user to archive up to 10 images(default is 7 DVD images and 3 CD images) or perform CD track extraction for CD audio compilations.
For DVD, at high (8X) speed, the disc image is automatically cached to the hard drive before duplication to ensure recording stability.

MultiWriter DVD
Microboards MultiWriter Series takes multi-disc CD and DVD recording to the next level. The MultiWriter Series is a professional system that allows for CD/DVD premastering and duplication in one easy step or as separate powerful processes. With configurations of up to 8 (16x) DVD recorders the MultiWriter Series can handle applications from the small office/software developer up to the most demanding duplication environment. This is done through the combination of Microboards‚ cutting-edge Firewire (IEEE 1394) and CD/DVD recording technology. Installation is made easy with a Plug-n-Play hardware interface and intuitive software setup.
With the MultiWriter, users can produce up to 8 discs in the time it would normally take to create one using conventional means. Instead of waiting a half hour for each DVD disc to be recorded, the user can record 8 at once, saving 3.5 hours per 8 DVD discs! The MultiWriter also features the ability to record up to 3 separate images to different recorders in the system.
